| DSW organizes poetry recitation competition | | | Early Times Reporter

Dean Student welfare today organized a poem recitation competition in the IInd phase of the Display your Talent competition at Brig. Rajinder Singh auditorium,Jammu University.
Nirmal from Hill people College of Education was adjudged first while Megha Khurana and Megha Jandial both from MIER College of Education bagged second and third prize respectively. The certificates were awarded to Manpreet Singh from Vaishnodevi College of Education and Dimple Sharma from Department of Law, University of Jammu,
The students recited the self composed pieces of poetry as well as that of established poets in Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi and English. Todays competition theme was “ Live and Let Live, Political Satries, Female Foeticide, Patriotism, corruption, childhood and other social evils. The competition was adjudged by Prof. Champa Sharma, dr. Nirmal Vinod and Betab Jaipuri.
The programme was compeered by Vinay Kumar, Sachin Bhagat, Priyanka Magotra and Nizam-ud-Din. |
