| Congress leadership bankrupt, directionless, alleges Bhim | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 10 Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman JKNPP, has said the re- induction of dismissed Deputy Chief Minister into the government has proved beyond doubt that the Congress leadership in Jammu and Kashmir is bankrupt and directionless, sulking on the mercy of pro-Jamait PDP, thus threatening the security and integrity of the state. He said the re-induction of Muzaffar Hussain Baig as Deputy Chief Minister and exclusion of all other Congress candidates into the cabinet, ignoring representation to SC community, women, Kashmiri Pandits and the Sikhs, when there were three vacancies in the cabinet, has exposed the bankruptcy of the Jammu and Kashmir Congress and demonstrates its anti and hostile attitude towards SCs and discriminatory and bias against the minorities, particularly the KPs and Sikhs. He urged the State Governor to dissolve the assembly, dismiss the government and invoke section 92 of the Jammu and Kashmir constitution to save the state from constitutional anarchy, political bankruptcy and ‘loot bazar’. Prof Singh said that Baig was dismissed nearly two years back on several allegations against him by his patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed adding that the proxy CM Ghulam Nabi Azad bribed Baig heavily by accommodating him in the CM’s historic official residence for nearly two years and opting a hired accommodation in his favoutire JK Bank Guest House for himself by spending Rs. five lakh per month at the cost of the state exchequer thus causing huge loss to the state exchequer. ‘The integrity of Baig stood exposed when he appeared for a foreign company challenging the cabinet order where he himself was a cabinet minister in Mufti’s government and a party to the decision’, Prof Singh remarked. |
