| Shiv Sena holds protest procession | | | Earlyl Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 10 Shiv Sena Jammu today took out a procession from Ranipark and burnt the effigy of Minister for Consumer Affairs Taj Mohi-ud-Din in protest against the government failure in providing essential commodities like cooking gas to the bonafide consumers. Addressing the protestors, Gupta alleged that while the bonafide consumers were suffering from non availability of cooking gas, the same was being sold in black market at exorbitant rates ranging between Rs.360-375 per cylinder. He also charged the HPC and IOC for not supplying gas to the consumers and selling the same in the black market through some middlemen. He warned that if the situation does not improve on this account the Shiv Sena activists would be forced to launch an indefinite strike for the entire responsibility would lie on the department concerned and the divisional administration. |
