Jammu | Dec 17: Stadium XI today registered six wickets victory over Eleven Star to advance into the next round of ongoing 5th JK Champions Trophy Cricket Tournament organized by the Talab Tillo Cricket Club at GGM Science College grounds, here.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Eleven Star made 84 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Pranav was top scorer with unbeaten 27 runs while Jasvinder contributed 17. Mohit was most successful bowler from Stadium XI with three wickets while Dilbagh and Rohit took two each.
In reply, Stadium XI chased the total in 13.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Bandeep remained highest scorer with unbeaten 25 while Manish and Ravi Pandita added 19 runs each. Paras took two wickets while Numan and Kaw shared a piece each.
Later, Mohit was named as man of the match. Today’s match was officiated by Papu, Santa Singh and B B Verma.
