| MAM defeats PG to clinch hockey trophy | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | Dec 17: Government MAM College today won the inter-college men’s hockey trophy after a long time beating the title holder, Post Graduate (PG) Departments by a solitary goal at University of Jammu ground here.
The only goal that guided MAM to a title win was scored by the Karanjeet Singh in the 56th minute of the match.
Prof Lokesh Verma, Director Physical Education, University of Jammu was chief guest in the final. He appreciated both the teams for their excellent play.
Prominent among others present were Dr Sonam Angchuk, Assistant Director, Ramesh Sharma and Ramesh Magotra.
The final was officiated by Joginder Singh, Dalbir Singh, Jasbir Singh, P P Singh and PD Singh. |
