| Cultural academy stages play ‘Sakha Ram Binder’ | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 17 A famous Marathi play ‘Sakha Ram Binder Written by Padamshree Vijay Tendulkar and its Dogri adoption by Rajneesh Gupta was staged here by the J&K academy of art culture and literature on the eve of annual drama festival. The play Sakha Ram Binder revolves around the main character Sakha Ram who is a bookbinder by profession. The writer very symbolically depicted the problems of man woman relations and succeeded in indicating that Sakha Ram, who is a good binder by profession, fails to bind the relations with his life partners and with the result married four times but could not maintain the relations. The artists who performed on stage include: Lalita Tapasvi (Laxmi Sapna Soni (Champa), Harbans Sharma (Shinda), Sorav Goswami (Dawood), and Sanjay Kapil (Sakha Ram). |
