| GCW Udhampur holds one day workshop | | | Early Times Reporter

One day workshop on Aspects of Science in Modern Era was organized by Govt. College for women Udhampur for college lecturers and students who can contribute lot to the modern technocratic civilization.
Ex vice chancellor, Jammu University Prof. YR Malhotra was the chief guest on the occasion. While speaking on the occasion, Malhotra expressed his satisfaction over the present scientific scenario of India. He also stressed upon this concern for basic research inputs at College level.
Chairman of the workshop, Prof. Kiran Bakshi elaborated the correlation between modern science and the Vedic philosophies.
The lectures were delivered by Prof. MK Jyoti Department of Zoology, Prof. MK Dhar, Department of Biotechnology, Prof. Rajnikant Department of Physics and Dr KK kapoor from Department of Chemistry Jammu University. All the lectures were based on modern technological aspects of science which has changed the global civilization. The programme was anchored by students of BSC-II, Simranpreet Kour and Monika Gupta while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Ranvijay singh, convener of the programme. |
