| Sadbhavna Jyoti handed over to Sonia 1 | | | Jammu, Aug. 22:
All India Rajiv Gandhi Brigade (Regd.), J&K which had organised Rajiv Sadbhavna Jyoti Yatra , handed over the Jyoti to Sonia Gandhi today at Vibhuti New Delhi, under the chairmanship of state president Rajiv Mahajan and National president Rajindra Dubey yesterday, on the birth-day of Rajiv Gandhi.
The importance of this Sadbhavna Yatra is that it was organised for the first time from Srinagar amidst tight security . The minister of Sports and Haj &Auqaf , Peerzada Mohd. Syed had flagged it off on 12th of Aug. from Srinagar. The Yatra
having passed Udhampur, Kathua and Jammu where many cultural programmes and Sadbhavna rallies were held, was given warm reception in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal too.
Expressing her full faith in the brigade under the leadership of Mahajan and Dubey, Sonia appreciated the duo for their dedication in the affairs the Brigade hoping their efforts will definitely strengthen fulfilling the dream of Jana Nayak, Rajiv Gandhi. Sonia is the Chief Patron of the Brigade.
Mahajan, while in Delhi, attended several fuctions organised by Sonia, on the birth anniversary of the Jana Nayak.
