| Freedom fighters hold programme | | | Early Times Reporter

In continuation with its programme to aware the students community about the freedom struggle of India from 1857 till 1947, The J&K Freedom Fighters Association (FFA) has organized an aware programme regarding freedom struggle at Model Academy.
Speaking on the occasion, Ved Gandotra, president of the association asked the students and the youth of the country to follow the path of sacrifice and patriotism shown by the freedom fighters, if they want the country and the countrymen prosperous and happy an honest and dedicated leadership has to be produced, as said by former President of India APJ Kalam, again and again in his addresses to the Nation, said Gandotra, so that the nation may get rid of dishonest and rusted leadership.
Paras Ram Poonchi, Ashwani Pradan, Pursnotam Pandon and Advocate HC Jalmerla, threw light on the life history of many Martyrs and said that the Martyrs like Bhagat Singh,Raj Guiru, Sukhdev, Azamullah Khan,Aruna Asaf Ali, Maharani Laxmi Bhai, Tatya Tope, Chander Shekhar Azad could have led luxurious and princely life, but they choose to sacrifice every thing to the freedom of the Nation and smilingly they sacrificed their lives too.
They asked the youth and the women folk to come forward and write a new history, give a new leadership to this direction-less Nation, because untill and unless every face does not look smiling, unless every one has no housing and every one does not get justice, one can't say that we have been freed fully.
The Principal of Model Academy thanked the association for its awareness programme and asked the students to follow the foot steps of the Martyrs. |
