| ‘Kahan Ho Faqir Chand’ staged | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 21 “Kahan Ho Faqir Chand” a Hindi play written by Inderjeet Bhatia Shashi Bhushan was staged at Abhinav theatre here today. This annual drama festival has been organized as a part of the golden jubilee celebrations of J&K, academy of art, culture and languages. The play revolves around a writer who wants to write about Faqir Chand, who is nature quarrelsome. Why Faqir Chand quarrels over trifles is a question writer wants to solve. He has a scuffle with his wife and suddenly many cause behind Faqir Chand’s nature strucks writer’s mind and he wants to complete his story but here a twist place by the entry of his wife’s cousin and the writer found himself caught in all the alternatives that he has thought of Faqir Chand. The artists who performed on stage include Amar Nanda, Pushpa Nanda, Charu Kumari, Nidhi Mehra, Shishu Pal Khajuria, Ganesh Dutt, Rakesh Dogra, Raj Kumar Raja, Khalid Rasool, Hari Om and Shashi Bhushan. Music of the play was designed by Raj Kumar, Lights by Ajay Sharma, Make-up Manoj Dhameer, and Costumes by Amar Chand and set by Rakesh Dogra. |
