Early Times Reporter Samba | Dec 21 The Jats of the state once mainly associated with agriculture profession alleged that they have been completely neglected by all the state governments which came with power from time to time. Addressing a largly-attended gathering of Jats belonging to villages of Rajpura and Benglard. President of Jat Kalyan Sabha Kamal Singh Said, day-by-day conditions of jats is going from bad to worst due to shrinking of agriculture land. He demanded that OBC status be granted to state job as already done by status of Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Madhaya Pradesh and U.P. He further said some time deputation of the Sabha called on Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad with the request that Jats he brought under OBC category as condition is day be day detorating. He said, but till date no action has been taken. He asked has been taken. He asked the members of the community be united for the cause till goal is achieved.
