A joint team of police and army today apprehended a Hizbul Mujahideen Over Ground Worker (OGW) in Shopian district of South Kashmir According to reports Zafar Hussain Kasana was apprehended by the troops of 31 Rashtriya Rifles from Mirzapur area of the district last evening and later handed over to police.
Kasana, an active OGW of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, was supporting Shabbir Ahmad Mir, the self-styled district commander of the outfit for Shopian, the sources added. |
