The new appointments include one SP, two DSPs and five Inspectors, besides some staff at the lower level to assist the officers. In all, nearly 39 new posts have been sanctioned. The new appointments have come after a series of meetings in the past few months between the Chairperson of the Commission and Chief Secretary. Recently, the Government has deputed an officer of the rank of Inspector General to head the investigation wing. However, adequate senior police officers for investigation and own official accommodation are yet to be granted by the Government |
