| JURSEA demand more heat pillars in central library | | | Early Times Reporter

Highlighting several problems confronting the scholars and students of Jammu University at a press conference here today, Vikas Sharma, President Jammu University Research Scholar Executive Body (JURSEA)demanded provision of more heat pillars in the central library as the students were facing grave problems during the prevailing chilly days.
Sharma alleged that there is no provision of rechecking and re-evaluation of the M. Phil examination papers and most of the time, it has been noticed that majority of research scholars have to face the rivalry of the teachers lobby within the departments.
In order to ensure fair and transparent examination system the University should adopt rechecking and re-evaluation system, he demanded.
JURSEA leaders also demanded that viva for M. Phil and Ph. D scholars should be held within three months after the submission of their dissertation and thesis besides ensuring improvement in scholar’s rooms in each department, speeding up the work on the under construction boys hotels. |
