| Hizb module busted in central Kashmir: DG police | | | SRINAGAR, JULY 04: Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant outfit module was busted with arrested of six top ranked militants from central Kashmir’s Budgam district, Director General of police said here on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference Director General of Police Gopal Sharma said that HM Divisional commander and five other militants of the outfit were arrested in separate raids across central Kashmir. The six militants were arrested on the basis of information provided by one Mohammad Amin Khan arrested last month, Sharma said. He claimed that Khan was instrumental in converting cars for blasts in the city. With the arrest of the six, the top chain of command of the module was busted in central Kashmir, he said. Those arrested included divisional commander of outfit for central Kashmir Manzoor Ahmed Wani alias Yunis, Mohammad Yasin Itoo alias Manzoor, district commander for Budgam and Srinagar districts, Nissar alias Khalid, finances and car blast expert, Bilal Ahmed Dar alias Umer, Sajad Ali Bhat alias Shahid and Ayaz alias Bilal who does not hold any formal post in the outfit but functions as the provincial coordinator, Sharma said. He also displayed the ammunition recovered from the possession of the militants
