| ABRS demands development of tehsil Paddar | | | Early Times Reporter Kishtwar | Dec 22 The Akhil Bharat Rachnatmak Samaj (ABRS) has urged upon the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to take up the development of Paddar tehsil in Kishtwar district (J&K) as a special task out of the prime minister’s economic development fund. The general secretary, ABRS Gulcharan Singh, had blamed that the successive state government for neglecting the area which is militancy infested dense forest and hilly terrain. In a statement issued here today, after touring villages namely Leoundi, Charwas, Kahal, Pandial, Tun Khail, Durdoo and Machail of block Paddar Singh said that the entire area sans electricity, water supply and road connectivity, besides with no medical infrastructure. He said that the population of the area is totally ignored by the administration and the people are leading a miserable life. Singh also demanded for the construction and strengthen of road from Gulab Garh-Paddar to Machail, Gandhri bordering Himachal Pradesh. |
