| Charak visits Suchetgarh assesses people’s problems | | | Early Times Reporter R.S Pura | Dec 22 Minister for R&B Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak today visited Kaloyen village in Suchetgarh to assess the genuine problems of the border belts. Minister for Rural Development Department Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Janak Raj Gupta, MLA Suchetgarh Ch. Gharu Ram, senior congress leader S Jaswant Singh and other senior officers of RDD, R&B and PDD accompanied the Minister. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Charak said that the present government led by Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad is fully aware with the problems of all sections of the society and is taking keen interest to solve them. He said that unprecedented development has been made in every sector particularly in R&B in 5 years tenure of present government. He appealed the people to cooperate with development agencies so that ongoing development works would be complete within stipulated time frame. He asked the executing agencies to use quality material. A large number of locals met the Minister and projected their demands including reservation of Jat Bradhari in cabinet, electrification of rural areas, construction of Govt. Middle School Kaloyen village compound wall, refugees problems, compensation of land used for mines, Higher Secondary School for Girls in Suchetgarh, special recruitment of youth in police, maintenance of roads of Kotli Shahdullah, Katyal Badyala and Badyal Brahamna. Charak assured the people that their genuine demands would be solved in the existing resources on priority. Regarding maintenance of dilapidated Kotli Shahdullah, Katyal Badyala and Badyal Brahamna roads, Mr. Charak asked the concerned engineers to formulate the proposal for its construction. |
