TO finalize arrangements for the forthcoming ‘Moharram’, Shia Organizations of the district held a meeting at Khatam-ul Ambia Library under the chairmanship of Molana Syed Mukhtar Hussain Jafari.
The meeting discussed various issues like regular supply of water, electricity, provision of cooking gas, firewood, sugar, Kerosene oil, essential commodities and proper street lightening, apart from peoper security arrangements and hoped that all these issues would be tackled by the government well in advance.
The meeting also constituted an adhoc committee for successful implementation of the programme chalked out for the Moharram processions, Majlis and other related functions. The committee has been authorized to have interaction with the administration.
The meeting, unanimously elected, Alhaj Rahat Hussain Nehvi as convenor of district Imamia organization with Riaz Hussain Mir, Saleem Shah, Dr .Syed Ifthkar Hussain Shah, and Kifayat Hussain Bangan as members. |
