| Malik demands opening of college at Mahore | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 24 The MLA, Gulab Garh constituency, Abdul Gani Malik has criticized the coalition government decision in opening of a degree college at Dharmari. Addressing a press conference here today, MLA said there was no justification for sanctioning a degree college at Dharmari. He said during the budget session of 2005-06, after a debate on any question government agreed that a degree college will be opened at Mahore at an earliest. But it is very unfortunate that despite this, the government sanctioned college for Dharmari, he said, and added the steps taken is totally anti people, undemocratic and worst of state terrorism. He said that step taken of the government is against the aspiration of Mahore, who is since long were demanding opening a college, Mahore being a headquarter of gool, Gulab Garh. Arnas and Chassana and as such sanctioning of college here would home been a welcome step he said in addition to this MLA, said number of this area of Gulab Garh have been ignored as for as development and opening of tourism development and opening of tourism development agency in the constituency is concerned . Malik said, people of the area have taken the decision seriously and have warned the government of the consequences of degree college is not sanctioned of Mahore at an earliest. |
