However, the Association has decided to draw the fixture by tonight and shall be available to the participating clubs tomorrow.
“To spare no room for any doubt, the Association is selecting the teams through draws of lot for the final fixture, which can be seen at the office of JKCA Jammu wing from tomorrow onwards,” joint secretary of JKCA Jammu wing, Sunit Sharma told Early Times.
In all, 20 affiliated clubs of the Association, including from Kashmir wing, are taking part in the knock-out tournament. Clubs which have come forward from Kashmir for the President’s Cup are Kashmir Cricket Club, Rainawari Cricket Club, Srinagar Cricket Club and Wipex Cricket Club.
It is pertinent to mention here that the richest sports body of the state, JKCA is holding any such competition after a long time. The President’s Cup is organized by the Jammu Wing under the auspices of JKCA.
