Jammu | Dec 25
Senior People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Chairman of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank (JCCB) Mr. Mohammed Sharief Tariq visited various far-flung villages in border district of Rajouri and expressed deep concern over the living condition of people in these areas. He visited villages of Manjakote, Korha, Doongi Brahmna, Bangla Nowbram, Nadiyalya and Androoth.
Tariq was peeved over the completely deterioted electricity and water supply system in these areas. Locals informed Mr. Tariq about the almost non-functional primary heath centre and a school which has no teachers. Mr. Tariq was told by the locals that these areas are inhabited mostly by people belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST) category who are living under extremely backward conditions.
During interaction with the villagers at these places, Mr. Tariq promised them to take up their issues with the state government. He promised them that he would leave no stone unturned in getting their demands and genuine concerns redressed within shortest possible time.
