People's Democratic Party (PDP) has envisioned a united Jammu and Kashmir with emphasis on equal distribution of funds and resources among the three regions viz. Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The party has ensured that the slogan of discrimination with Jammu region dies sudden death for the times to come.
This was stated by vice-president of the party and MLC Mr. Ved Mahajan while addressing a public meeting at ward numbers 24, 25 and 26 of Jammu west constituency. The meeting had been organized to take stock of the preparations being made for the public rally to be addressed by the patron of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Mufti Mohammed Sayeed on January 20, 2008 in Jammu West constituency.

Mr. Mahajan cautioned the people against the false impression being given by certain vested interest people about the policies and programmes of People's Democratic Party (PDP).
General Secretary of the party Mr.Daman Bhasin implored upon the people to strengthen the hands of leadership of People's Democratic Party (PDP) and desist from supporting those individuals who have a record of dividing people on regional and religious lines. He affirmed that PDP led coalition gave a new lease of life to the dying tourism industry of the state and in particular took practical steps for economic prosperity of Jammuites.
