| Several join NC at Chakki-Majra, Satrian | | | Early Times Reporter

The national conference got a shot in arm when large number of people belonging to village Chakki-Majra of Tehsil Bishnah and Satrian in tehsil R.S Pura joined the party in two separate functions organized for the purpose. At Chakki-Majra some workers of Congress and BSP including youth joined the NC in presence of senior party leader Sham Lal Sharma. Speaking on the occasion he said people are eagerly waiting for new government to the headed by Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
At village Satrian, in R.S Pura, a large number of youth along with senior citizens of the village joined the party. NC youth leader T S Toni, while welcoming them in the party fold said people throughout the state are fed up with the present regime, which has failed on all fronts. The promises made during elections by congress and PDP were only elections stunts, he said and added un-employment among youths is alarming.
