| Ex-Servicemen rally held | | | Early Times Reporter

An ex-servicemen rally, was organized by Army authorities at Malpur (Akhnoor), yesterday with the aim of pursuing welfare measures to all veterans and veer naris residing in the areas of Malpur, Dummi, Gurhpattan, Gagrayal, Mishriwala, Rajpura and Simbelwala of tehsil Aknoor. Medical camp was established to provide free medical treatment by Army doctors. Ex-servicemen welfare department Jammu interacted with defence veterans and has resolved problems related with pension and re-employment. Army based Grievances cell was establish to address the problems and representatives of ECHS cell (Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Jammu was also present to educated the veterans about ECHS. A large number of veterans attended the rally and had fully utilized the facilities provided. |
