| Army launches operation to control fire along LoC | | | Early Times Reporter

Army has launched an operation today to control forest fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, official sources said.
The fire started in Balakote area near LoC yesterday and later spread to other areas in the Mendhar belt of the district, they said.
Army has launched an operation to douse the fire, they said adding the fire has also spread to some areas across LoC in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
However, no loss of life or injury to anyone due to the fire has been reported so far. |
