| Airtel No.1 telecom operator in J&K | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 26 Airtel, India’s leading mobiles services provider achieved the leadership position by becoming the operator with highest number of customers on its network in Jammu & Kashmir. The leadership milestone of eight lakh customers was achieved by marching ahead of competition in just three years of operations in the State, after having launched its mobile services on October 20, 2004. In this period, Airtel rapidly expanded and fortified its network throughout the state and presently connects J&K with over 1000 cell sites. With this Airtel assumes leadership position in the network strength as well.
