| Deepak Budki's book released today | | | Early Times Reporter

Cultural academy today released a famous book "Zebra Crossing Par Khada Adami" written by a noted playright Deepak Budki here today.
In a grand function here today in the auditorium hall of Jammu and Kashmir Cultural Academy, joint secretary Zaffar Iqbal Manhas released the book. Large number of people including writers, poets, intellectuals and columnists were present.
The book which is a narrative of situations Kashmir has gone through since violence hit this Himalayan region. Deepak Bukti, a world famous writer of Kashmiri origin, has contributed his writing to almost all the Urdu magazines in the world. He is regarded as one of the best prose writer of the country.
"My writings usually focus on human tragedies and sexuality issues," said Deepak.
The world famous magazines in which Deepak has contributed include UK based 'Sageeri Urdu' and 'Sada' magazines, Pakistani based Sakhanwar magazine and many other Middle East magazines. He is also contributing regularly to 'Shair' and 'Intisab', the noted Indian Urdu magazines. |
