| DGPC organize 64th Mahan Gurmat Samagam | | | Early Times Reporter

To celebrate the anniversary of Sant Baba Sunder Singh Alibeg a function was organized by the distric. Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) on the occasion of 64th Mahan Gurmat Samagam, Nowshera here today.
On this occasion, Jatehdar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib Amritsar Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti and Mahant Manjeet Singh of Dera Baba Nangli Sahib were special invite.
Giani Joginder Singh threw light on the life of Sardar Singh, Alibeg and said that Sikhism spread by the efforts of various sikh sants and now by Dera Baba Nangali Sahib in the mountains region of J&K. He further appealed to the Sikh community to Co-operate with Dera Nangali Sahib for the bright future of Sikh community and appreciated the services rendered by Mahant Manjit Singh towards the sikh community. A foundation stone a new building of the Gurudwara was also laid by the panj pyaras.
Among others who participated in the function includes Mohinder Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Ranjit Singh, Raghubir Singh, Dharminder Singh and Rejoinder Singh. |
