| Adbi Kunj pay’s tributes to Hakim Manzoor | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 26 The members of Adbi Kunj paid rich tributes to late Hakim Manzoor a renowned Urdu poet of the state, on his second death anniversary here today. Members on the occasion highlighted his outstanding contribution in Urdu literature and poetry. Eminent writes and poets of the Kunj, Sham Talib Smt. Nargis Sitara and Talib Kashmiri in their speeches spoke high of late Manzoor and his contribution in field of Urdu language. In the story session of Adbi Kunj Muni Lal Puri read out his write up titled “Lahore Ki Sair Paanch Rupai Mein” recounting his reminiscences of a sojourn undertaken by him in his boyhood during the pre partition days from Jammu to Lahore spending a amount of Rs. 5 only Talib presented his latest short story titled “Ansoo” reflecting his sad state of mind of the members of two families, Swranjeet Kour Raina read her Punjabi short story “Chand Grehan” depicting the miserable life of a young widow comparing it with the eclipse of moon. In the poet meet poets who enthralled audience by their ghazals and poems included Smt. Nargis Sitara (Urdu), Mohd Idris Shaad (Gojri), Talib Kashmiri (Urdu), Rajeshwar Bhakri, Kimti Lal Dubey Deewana (Hindi) Tayyab Bharti (Urdu), Swaran Jeet Kour Rain (Punjabi), Muni Lal Puri (Urdu).
