| Wrestling Association releases calendar of activities | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu and Kashmir Indian Style Wrestling Association in a meeting held here today has planned the domestic activities beginning with Jammu district championship on January 12 at R S Pura Stadium.
The meeting which was chaired by Association president, Shiv Kumar Sharma also took other important decisions while discussing the ways and means to promote the indigenous game of wrestling in the state.
Other domestic activities of the Association include district championships at Reasi on January 15 at Aghar Jitto Kotli; at Udhampur on January 16 at Garhi; at Rajouri on January 19 at Lambari and at Kathua on January 29 at Hiranagar.
“The district competitions shall be followed by the two-day State Indian Style Wrestling Championship on February nine and February 10 at Jammu,” president of the Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma told SAN.
Prominent among others who attended today’s meeting were Inderjeet Khajuria, Bansi Lal Tidyal, T R Sharma, Prem Choudhary, Krishan Lal Sharma, Bansi Lal Tidyal, Billu Pahalwan and Raj Kumar. |
