A militants’ mobile recharge center was busted by the joint party of police and army in Mendhar area of Poonch district. According to reports today a joint team of police and army received specific information of militants moment in the Suian forest under the jurisdictions of police station Mendhar. The team launched a search operation in the area during which the team busted a hideout and recovered 12 BSNL recharge coupons, one revolver, one satellite phone, one radio set fixed with IED, 19 pistol rounds, three wireless set antennas and three pistol magazines were recovered on the spot. Sources said police took the recharge coupons and investigate the matter from where the coupons were collected. Sources said first time in the militancy history the police recovered large numbers of the recharge coupons and police has also registered a case in this regard. |
