| Gupta reviews development works in Bishnah | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 27 Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Janak Raj Gupta today visited Bishnah area and took stock of various developmental activities. He directed the officers to speed up the pace of work and complete the ongoing projects in a stipulated time frame. Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Bishnah, Mr. Gupta said that Azad led government has ensured all round development in every part of the state and has taken various landmark decisions like passing of Roshni Act, creation of new administrative units, opening of new colleges and University Campus at various places. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister in implementation of various developmental schemes. Mr. Gupta said that government has mainly focused on the development of rural infrastructure to improve the socio-economic status of people. He said education and road connectivity are imperative for the development of any area and government has been making all out efforts to improve these areas. Earlier, a deputation of Billawar headed by Mr. Hukam Chand Basotra called on the Advisor and apprised him about various problems faced by the people of the area. They conveyed gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad for historical decisions for the betterment of rural people. Mr. Gupta gave a patient hearing to the deputationists and assured them that their demands would be forwarded to the concerned quarters for early redressal. |
