Minister of State for Education and CA&PD; S. Manjeet Singh today distributed sewing machines and the cheques to the widows in a function organized here today in Vijaypur.
During the occasion, MoS Education reiterated his commitment to the people about further development of the said assembly constituency. He highlighted the achievements of the coalition government especially when the state witnessed an era of the development all across the state. While distributing the sewing machines and cheques to the widows, Singh said the efforts is to make these persons self reliant and to offer them an opportunity to become economic independent.
Thereafter he interacted with the series of delegations of the people from the villages falling under the jurisdiction of the Viajypur assembly constituency which apprised the MoS with their problems. The minister after listening to the issues assured them about immediate redressal.
Sarpanches and panches from various villages were present on this occasion along with the prominent citizens of the area. |
