| Alleged Bungling in Selection of Teachers | | HC Directed Secretary Board to appear in person along with record | |
Jammu, August, 23:- Justice Nirmal Singh of J&K High Court Jammu Wing on August 22 in a writ petition filed Renu Bharan challenging the selection of teachers, directed Mr. Mustaq Ahmed Mir, Secretary of recruitment board to appear in person along with the original record.
This significant direction has been issued by the Court in a writ petition alleging that it is only the petitioner who has been picked up for the treatment out of all the selected candidates for all the districts, as per the selection list petitioner shown selected at serial No 42. This is also discriminatory, violative of her right to life and right to appointment.
The petition filed through Advocate HC Jalmeria challenging the order of the service selection board on various ground and prayed for issuance a direction to respondents to accept the certificate of the petitioner and seeking restraining the respondents from resorting to any arbitrary measure with respect to the selection of the petitioner violating the principal of natural justice and law. Court after hearing Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Khan legal advisor for J&K Service Selection Board issued above direction to Secretary.
