| Militant arrested in Awantipora | | | Early Times Reporter

Police claimed to have arrested a militant at Kadlabal Nambal in Awantipora and recovered arms and ammunition from his possession.
Official sources said that on specific information about the movement of a militant Awantipora police laid a Naka near Kadlabal. During Naka checking a militant was arrested.
The arrested militant has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Laway son of Ab. Rashid resident of Lurgam Tral village of south Kashmir
Police recovered one Chinese Pistol and five rounds of pistol ammunition from his possession. Police has registered a case in this regard.
