Suspected militants shot dead a fourty year old civilian in Surankote area of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, late on Friday night.
Official sources said that unidentified gunmen, believed to be militants, forced their entry into the house of Muhammad Shabir son of Muhammad Din of Mustan Dara, Surankote and shot him dead from a point blank range.
Soon after receiving the information about the killing, a team of local police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital. No arrests were made, till the last report came in. |
