The activists of J&K Christian association led by its president Warris Gill held protest rally on busy Residency Road, against the alleged atrocities committed on Christian community by some communal elements in the state of Orissa.
While addressing the protestors, Warris said the incident has shocked the community and have condemned the killing of innocent persons besides damaging churches in the state. He said stern action should be taken against the culprits. He appealed the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh dismiss the Orissa govt. which fails to protect life and property of Christian. Other who also spoke on the occasion were Ex-MLC S.M Gill, N.M Nissar, Shokat Peter, Paster Johny Bhatti, Vicky Mooman, Asaf Gill, Star Gill, Robin Mooman, Naveen Mooman and Soleman. |
