When contacted a senior police officer said that the search operation in the city and its suburbs have been intensified during the last few days to thwart the possible attacks of the militants. Two days back the militants were also seen in the out skirts of the city while earlier also their presence was noticed in the city itself . Sources said the Jammu police had arrested a number of students including a law student who were allegedly involved in militancy and were actively working for the militants.
