Pulwama, 23, Aug – Mehraj-ul-Alam was observed with great religious fervour across the district with people praying for whole night in various Mosques and shrines.
Various Islamic scholars also threw light on the importance of the day during the prayer sittings.
District administration had made elaborate arrangements for the holy occasion with adequate supply of power, water and food grains. Special arrangements have been also made at Chrar-i-Sharief where the main congregation was held. |
