Plus 2 lecturers held meet, discuss problems

The all J&K plus 2 lecturers welfare association have expressed serious concern over the order denying winter break in schools of summer zone.
Addressing the meeting of members of association Vijay Kumar Sharma said, the attitude of the government with the school going children is callous. He said university and college going students enjoy holidays and on the other hand small children are compelled to attend classes during swear cold. He further said attendance of children in schools of rural areas of summer zone below normal.
In the meeting teachers demanded that one-month earned leave may be sanctioned in this case. They also demanded regularization of services and promotion prospects.
Among others who also spoke in the meeting were Jai Shankar, S. Dalbir Singh, Dr. Raphell, Dr. Ashok Sharma, Davinder Singh Manhas, Ravi Gupta, T.A. Azad and Ashwani Sharma.
