JKUUYF demands abolition of criteria system in SSRB

Jammu, Aug 23: Saying that the coalition Government has failed to put check on increasing number of unemployment youth in the state. President J&K Unemployed United Youth Front, has said, that they are being deprived of their rights on the basis of criteria system, while applying for government Job or Loans.
In a faxed statementshmir, Ghulam Mohd Bhat chairman of the front has threatened government that they would launch state wide agitation if their demands are not accepted. The statement further said that SSRB has fixed criteria system for every one who so ever applies for government Job.
“Hundreds of unemployed youth with higher qualification are either at the verge of overage or have crossed the upper age limit”, said Hamid Shan president of the association has said.
“We appealed to the chief Minister to abolish the criteria system in the SSRB and direct the Board to appoint the youth on the basis of written test” There seems to be no check on the appointments made by different departments. Added he
Alleging that the appointments made in semi-government sectors are never checked and all those who are appointed are either relatives of bureaucrats or politicians. Every time committees are framed and again government money is being utilized in conducting meetings which could not even prove a single case, He added.
There are hundreds and thousands fake appointments made by the politicians or officers at the helm of affairs during their respective governments.
Demanding special quota for those, who are at the verge of overage. The statement said that the disappointment adds more fire to the problems of the youth.
