| Advisor visits Nagrota, Burnai migrant camps | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 30 Advisor to Chief Minister, Manzoor Ahmad Ganai today visited Nagrota and Burnai Migrant Camps and took stock of the facilities being provided to the Kashmiri migrants residing in these camps. During the visit he interacted with the migrants and enquired about the problems being faced by them. He assured that the government led by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is fully aware about the problems confronting the migrants residing in various parts in Jammu division adding that government is committed to provide all basic facilities to them. Speaking on the occasion, Ganai said that the residential quarters coming up in the Nagrota Camp would be allotted to the migrants living in the Camps. He asked the Relief Commissioner to look into the grievances of the migrants with regard to issuance of ration cards to migrant families. He said that the educated youth belonging to the migrant community would be provided employment as per merit and assured that the grievances of the migrants would be brought into the notice of Chief Minister for redressal. Ex-President, PSM M. K. Yogi, S. Baghat Singh, Vijay Chikan and Krishenji accompanied the Advisor during his visit. |
