Gujar Bakarwal community demand constitutional rights

To protest against the alleged government’s biased attitude towards the Gujjar and Bakerwal community, Choudhary Abdul Hamid , President organized a massive rally which was attended by several community leaders.
For the first time all the young leaders of Gujjars were seen united and steadfast for the resolution of their problems and mitigation.
Addressing on the occasion, Hamid lashed at government and said that the successive governments at state as well as central has deprived them of their constitutional rights. He said that way back in 1991 the community of the state was granted schedule tribe status but till date no political reservation has been given to them and all the political parties are playing politics on this issue. He urged the government to introduce a bill in the ensuing assembly session so that it gets passed and the ST of the state might have their constitutional right.
