| Teenaged girl among two women found dead | | | Early Times Reporter

A divorced lady and a 18-year girl were found dead today under mysterious condition in a house at Beli Charana area under the jurisdiction of police station Satwari.
According to reports today the locals spotted the bodies in the house and informed the police, who rushed to the spot and took the bodies to the Government Medical College Hospital for postmortem and registered a case in this regard and started investigation. They have been identified as 35- old Amrit Devi daughter of Rikhi Ram and 18-year Babli Devi daughter of Amru Ram, both residents of Rajouri and at present Beli Charana. Sources said Amrit Devi a divorce was living alone for last few years in the house and last night she called Babli Devi for sleeping in her house where today morning both were found dead. Sources said during preliminary investigation it was found that some one had murdered both the women by hanging. Sources said police has also recovered some signs on the neck and other parts of the body and also recovered duppata from the neck of Amrit Devi. Sources said it is believed that some one had entered the house last night and after committing crime fled away. Police has handed over the bodies to the family members for last rites after postmortem. Sources said police also called the family members and neighbours of the victims for inquiry. Police is also reported to have found some more clues and started working on these inputs. Sources said both the victims were cousins and many times the Babli Devi used to sleep at Amrit Devi’s residence as she was putting up all alone at the residence. |
