Two agents involved in a high profile sex racket have been arrested in Srinagar on Sunday. The sex scam allegedly involves big names, which includes top police officers and bureaucrats.
The sex racket investigation began at the behest of a victim girl, who was promised a job but was later forced into prostitution. She revealed that other girls were also lured by promise of a job and brought from Srinagar to Delhi. Later, they were sold in Delhi.
The girl has taken the names of top police officers and bureaucrats involved in the sex racket. A year after the infamous sex scandal involving politicians, and bureaucrats was revealed in the valley; this expose has reportedly stunned the state administration fearing it to be a part of larger network.
Earlier on Dec 19, a teenager named Aaliya was murdered in the valley because she was going to speak out against an alleged sexual exploitation racket, run by a woman named Sabina alias Gypsy. On December 27, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar directed the police to arrest Sahiba in the case of alleged murder of Aaliya. |
