Security Forces busted two hideouts in the Chandiyal forest belt in Surnakote tehsil of Poonch district and Darhal in Rajouri district and recovered some arms and ammunition from the spot.
Acting on a specific information about the presence of militants in the area, the security forces launched a search operation in the area during which the team located a hideout in Chandiyal forest belt in Surnakote tehsil and recovered 72 rounds of Pika ammunition, 10 rounds of AK ammunition and two grenades from the spot.
The sources said that during search operation the security forces busted a hide out in Darhal area of Rajouri district and recovered one Pistol along with two magazines, eight grenades, 100 AK rounds, two mortar bombs and some glen tine wire.
Sources said the search operations were on in these areas when last reports came in. |
