Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 1 On the eve of Golden Jubilee celebrations, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organized a multilingual All India Hasya Mushaira at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu today. Governor of J&K Lt. Gen. (Retd) S.K. Sinha was the chief guest. While informing that the Academy is organizing several events to mark its Golden Jubilee Dr. Rafiq Masoodi, Secretary Cultural Academy said that this for the first time that the academy has organized an ALL India Humorous Mushaira in Jammu in which poets of National and international level in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Dogri, Pahari, Gojri and Kashmir languages have participated. Manjeet Singh nationally reputed humorous poet conducted the mushaira while Mts. Shamim Akhter, Special Officer for Cultural activities presented vote of thanks. The poets who participated include,Tara Smailpuri, Surinder Manhas, Surjit Mosh,Vijay Sharma and Randhir Raipuria (Dogri),Ch.Noor Mohd. Noor and Taj-ud-Din- Taj (Gojri), Naszeer Hussain Ans and Haji Nazeer Bhatti (Pahari), Mr.Popular Meerthi (Meerut), Dilkash Afridi (Moradabad),Mrs. Shahnaz (Moradabad), Mrs Nuzhat (Kashmiri), S. Sumeir Singh Mastana (Baramulla), Bupinder Singh Bhargawa (Jammu), Sufi Jagjit (Haryana), H. S. Dilgir (Ambala) in (Punjabi) and Suresh Avasthi, S.Manjit Singh,Mrs. Karnal Musade, Dr. Pawan Khajuria and Mr. Ragvinder (Hindi). In all 27 poets from the state and other parts of the country participated in the mushaira. |
