| President Cup: Hardip’s century guides RCC to big win | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 1 An unbeaten century by Hardip Singh today guided Rehari Cricket Club (RCC) to a fine 126 runs victory over GGM Science College XI in the ongoing President Cup cricket tournament at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here. Earlier, Science College won the toss and opted to field. Batting first, RCC set a big target of 211 runs for six in the stipulated 40 overs. Hardip Singh made unbeaten 107 runs while Chetan contributed 43 runs to the score. Sahil and Parveen shared two wickets each from Science College. Batting second, Science College could not resist the RCC bowling and lost all their wickets for 84 runs in 23 overs with Manjeet being the top scorer with 33 runs. Rohit added 19 runs to the total. From RCC, Anoop and Dilbag Singh clinched three wickets each. Sourab Chopra and Hardeep Singh were other wicket takers who shared two each.
