| Prem Sagar resigns; volunteers to work for party | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 1 Minister of Sate for Finance, Planning, Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Revenue, Prem Sagar Aziz today submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, requesting him to relieve him from Council of Ministers even as he volunteered to work for strengthening the Congress Party. Aziz, in his resignation letter to the Chief Minister, said that since elections to the State Legislative Assembly were being held this year he volunteered to work for the party to make it stronger. "I would be grateful if you accept my resignation from the Council of Ministers and allow me to work for the party", Mr. Aziz said. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has forwarded Mr. Prem Sagar Aziz's resignation to the Governor for acceptance. |
