| Bhim calls for effective improvement in Indo-Arab relations | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 2 An exhibition of photographs on the horrors of atom bomb at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was inaugurated today by the Panther Party Supremo, Bhim Singh at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium complex. Dean student’s academic affairs Jammu University, Prof. BPS Sehgal was the chief guest on the occasion. In the exhibition, all the photographs were donated by Prof. Baldev Sharma, former HoD Geology Department. The photographs displayed in the exhibition portrayed photographs like Billowing Mushroom Cloud, heat rays, vanished cities after bombing effects, damage to human bodied, Revival from ruins and reviving the cities. Prof Bhim Singh also delivered a lecture on India and the Arab World in which he highlighted the culture and society of the Arab Countries and their relation with India. He in his lecture emphasized the need to develop the political political , social, cultural and trade relations with the Arab world pleading that Indo-Arab cultural ties go back to an era beyond 6000 years as the Arab World has deep emotional and cultural relations with the people of the Indian subcontinent. He regretted that the seedling which was planted by great leaders like Nasir and Nehru is sinking into the mire of history under the Anglo American dangerous agenda to capture India as their market and rob the oil of the Arab world. He further described the Arabs as highly friendly, lovable and valuable neighbourers of India. He told students that peace in the world was not possible if foreign troops were not removed from Iraq and Israel does not vacate Palestine. Other present on the occasion included Nasreen Hamid, Hari Chand Jalmeria, Anita Thakur, PK Ganjoo, Ashok Singh, Subash Singh Salathia, Paramjit Singh, BK Tickoo, Puja Choudhary, Vinay Thusoo and Imran Rather.
